Each rocket-building kit includes the reusable parts for launch, including a nose cone, a body tube, a recovery parachute, and design components.This 1753 AVG bulk pack is ideal for helping kids explore the world of science and understand how rockets reach outer space. After an estimated assembly time of 1 hour per Alpha and Viking rocket (not including glue- and paint-drying time) and 10 minutes for the Generic E2X rockets, these models will be ready for proud display or launch prep.To build and launch each rocket, you will need a compatible Estes model rocket engine, Starters, Recovery Wadding, the Porta-Pad II Launch Pad and Electron Beam Launch Controller, 4 high-quality 1.5-volt AA alkaline batteries, and any extra materials listed in the directions (sold separately). The Alpha and Viking rockets also require scissors, a pencil, a ruler, fine sandpaper, carpenter’s glue, a modeling knife, masking tape, clear tape, plastic cement, white primer, and blue paint. • 3 DIFFERENT PROJECTED ALTITUDES: These fun model rockets have the following projected altitudes when used with a C6-7 Estes model-rocket engine (sold separately): Alpha: 1,000 ft. (305 m); Viking: 1,600 ft. (488 m); Generic E2X: 1,325 ft. (404 m). Compatible engines also include 1/2A6-2, A8-3, A8-5, B4-4, B6-4, B6-6, and C6-5 rocket engines.
